Pre-Engineering (Gateway To Technology)

Hi, my name is Wes RIkard and this is my seventh year teaching Gateway To Technology here at FMS.  I began my education career at Busbee Creative Arts Academy in 2008-2009. This is my tenth year in Lexington Two.

I graduated from USC with a degree in Media Arts.  I am broadly fascinated and enjoy running 5Ks, playing piano, playing guitar, building/fixing, drawing, reading, and learning new things. 

As for a philosophy of teaching, mine is ever-evolving, but simple: If provided the right environment, most people can learn just about anything.

My wife and I have two energetic young boys (ages 4 & 7) and we are endlessly, gloriously.....tired.  We also have a cat, "Folly", who likes sitting on flowers and clean laundry.
