Traffic Plan for Car Riders
Morning
1. Turn on to Hafely Court where you see the blue "Car Rider Pick Up" arrows. It is easier to approach Hafely Court for car traffic from the Charleston Highway end of Frink Street.
2. Proceed in a single file to the driveway of Taylor Street Baptist Church. Turn LEFT.
3. Turn LEFT by the three crosses in to the parking area in a single file line.
3. Turn RIGHT into the Davis Elementary parking lot ensuring that you are NOT blocking a fire hydrant or the fire entrance in to the portable classroom village.
4. You will be directed into a single file line to unload your student. Please pull up to the letter "A" on the canopy.
5. Once your student unloads your vehicle, turn LEFT through the parking lot, then turn RIGHT out of the driveway onto Hafely Court.
Afternoon
1. Turn on to Hafely Court where you see the blue "Car Rider Pick Up" arrows. It is easier to approach Hafely Court for car traffic from the Charleston Highway end of Frink Street.
2. Proceed in a single file to the driveway of Taylor Street Baptist Church. Turn LEFT.
3. Turn LEFT by the three crosses in to the parking area in a single file line.
3. Turn RIGHT into the Davis Elementary parking lot ensuring that you are NOT blocking a fire hydrant or the fire entrance in to the portable classroom village.
4. You will be directed into double file line to pick up your student.
5. Once your student loads your vehicle, you will be directed to merge fairly by a duty person.
6. Turn LEFT through the parking lot, then turn RIGHT out of the driveway onto Hafely Court.
PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ENTERING THE CAR PICK-UP LINE UNTIL 3:00. WE ALSO ASK THAT YOU DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL, SINCE THAT AREA IS DESIGNATED FOR MORNING AND AFTERNOON BUS ARRIVALS AND DISMISSALS.
