Lexington Two shares plan for spending federal ARP ESSER III funds

WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Over the summer, Lexington Two sent stakeholders a two-part survey, seeking feedback on a safe return to in-person learning for the 2021-2022 school year, as well as on spending priorities to improve learning and operations using federal ESSER funds.

Before the start of the current school year,  we posted Lexington Two’s Return to In-Person Instruction & Continuity of Services Plan, written with input from the first part of the stakeholder survey. This plan will continue to be updated every few months, with the next update expected this fall.

We are now sharing with district and community stakeholders our approved ARP ESSER III Spending Plan, which was written with input from the second stakeholder survey.  It includes the ARP ESSER III narrative, detailing the district's plan, as well as the ARP ESSER III Spending Plan itself, both posted below and attached with this story.

Your survey feedback for these plans was critical in helping the district work to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for in-person instruction, as well as for making the best use of federal funds for academic acceleration and other student needs. We will continue to keep our stakeholders posted on the progress of our efforts.

Thank you for your continued support.
