Lexington Two summer programs to operate on 2-hour delay Thursday, July 8

WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Lexington Two’s onsite summer school classes and summer camps will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, July 8,  due to possible strong winds and severe weather in the early morning hours.

Students in these summer programs should report to their district sites two hours later than the normally scheduled time. If your child rides a bus to a Lexington Two summer program, the bus will pick up your child two hours later.

Dismissal for the day will be at the normally scheduled time.

The decision to operate on a two-hour delay is being made out of an abundance of caution due to possible severe weather. District officials will continue to monitor conditions and will update families if necessary through district communications channels.
