WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Lexington Two is increasing its pay rates for substitute teachers.
The new full-day rates are $95 for those with a high school diploma, $105 for those with a bachelor's degree, and $115 for a certified teacher with a valid SC teaching credential.
Substitute teachers work on an “as needed” basis depending on available assignments with ESS, the placement service for Lexington Two. Daily substitutes may choose when, where, and how often they’d like to work with 24/7 access to an online scheduling system. Long-term substitutes also are needed.

Requirements for candidates include a minimum GED or high school diploma, background check and TB test.
