More Ways to Read, Learn & Explore!
Last week, Fulmer’s school library teamed up with a Youth Services Librarian from the Cayce-West Columbia Branch Library (CWC) for a special lunchtime collaboration in celebration of September being Library Card Sign-Up Month!
During grade-level lunches, students enjoyed their lunch in the library while learning about the many programs, resources, and reading opportunities available through the public library system. Students could also pick up a FREE library card application to take home to a parent/guardian. Completed applications can be returned to Mrs. Caughman, who will get them to CWC for processing and help get those library cards back to students!
And because learning can is fun, students put their language skills to work with a few rounds of Library Mad Libs, identifying nouns, verbs, adjectives, plural nouns, and more!
Students who would like a library card application can stop by the Fulmer library to pick one up. There are plenty of opportunities to discover something new at both your school library and your public library!
