7th/8th Grade Science and AVID
Welcome to my bio! I grew up in Lexington 2 and attended Pineview, Northside, and B-C High School (class of '91). I then enrolled at USC but transferred to Point University and graduated in 1996. I decided to pursue my Master's degree, which brought me back to USC and started my teaching career in 2002.
I love teaching science and have been for 14 years. I have spent the last 11 years at Fulmer teaching both 7th and 8th grade science. This is also my fourth year teaching AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) at Fulmer and I could not be happier being involved with such an incredible program.
I am lucky to be married to such a wonderful woman and to have 2 children, both of which attend Lexington 2 schools.
Many people want to know what I do in my spare time, but having two school aged children doesn't give me much spare time. When I am not at school, I enjoy watching college football, US national team soccer, snow skiing, attending my son's baseball games, and watching my daughter's dance recitals. I also officiate High School football and have been for the past 5 years.
