About Me
I grew up just a few minutes down the road from Lexington 2 living in Irmo, SC and graduating from Lex/Rich 5! After graduating high school, I stayed in Columbia to pursue a degree in Middle Level Education at The University of South Carolina. While at USC, I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Middle Level Education with a specialty in Mathematics and English Language Arts. I was also a part of the Teaching Fellows cohort and The Collegiate Middle Level Association while working on my undergraduate degree. Currently, I am working towards my masters degree in Learning Designs and Technologies to further my education as a teacher.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy going on walks with my dog; spending time with my family; traveling to new places; and going to the gym! I also love to play volleyball; I currently coach for the FMS Middle School team and for Lake Murray Volleyball Club.
