Welcome to 6th Grade ELA with Ms. Magraw
About Me
I am originally from Matthews, North Carolina but have enjoyed living in South Carolina for a number of years! I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Middle Level Education, specializing in English and Social Studies, and a B.A. in Spanish.
At Carolina, I was part of the Honors College and president of the Collegiate Middle Level Association. I have presented several times at the South Carolina Association of the Middle Level Education Conference and enjoyed attending the Palmetto State Literacy Association Conference and AVID Summer Institute.
At Fulmer, I teach 6th grade English Language Arts and am the English Language Arts Department Chair.
In addition to teaching, I love hiking, reading mystery and fantasy novels, playing pickleball, baking, attending USC football and basketball games, and playing harp at weddings.
Most importantly, I look forward to sharing a great 6th grade year with all of you!
